地名由来[edit]
境内的燕子河形状像燕尾，位于北干山南麓，社区因此取名[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
社区先于2001年7月设立燕子河居委会，2002年4月转为社区，2005年5月育才西苑社区并入本社区[2]。
