地名由来[edit]
社区名称源于拱秀路[3]。明嘉靖三十二年（1553年），萧山知县施尧臣修筑城墙，南面城门题名「拱秀」[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
1982年，这里先设高桥东居民委员会，次年改称拱秀居民委员会。2002年4月，夏家浜、高阳、高春、高乐、高园各居民区，以及拱秀村与道源路居民区的部分，并入拱秀社区[2]。
人口与居住[edit]
社区面积0.24平方千米，以高桥住宅区、梦秀公寓、高润公寓为主，共有房屋109幢，其中高桥住宅区为第64至164幢[1]。3414户之中，户籍6708人。党员方面在册312人，工作者14人，居民小组40个；外来人口3600余人[1]。
