东阳桥社区属萧山区城厢街道，范围北抵萧绍路，西侧到萧然东路，南接人民路，东侧靠育才路[1]。社区2002年成立，辖区的小区有众安花园、东阳桥公寓，还有龙发花园、家景园与梅和名府[2]。

地名由来[edit]

社区因境内的东旸桥得名。该桥建于明嘉靖三十二年，用的是筑城剩下的石料，当地人习惯把它写作东阳桥[1]。东旸桥是市级文物保护单位，位于社区之内[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1950年社区一带设二村与四村两个居委会。1956年，二村居委会的一部分划归裘江乡，其余部分并入四村居委会。1962年改称东阳桥居委会，1968年又称四村居委会，1981年复为东阳桥居委会[1][3]。2002年4月，东阳桥、众苑、姚家潭三处居民区合并，设立东阳桥社区[3]。
