冠山社区在长河街道内，位于冠山南麓，紧挨白马湖，属白马湖生态创意城的核心区块之一。社区面积约1.21平方公里。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区是由五个村的拆迁安置楼群合并而成的特色社区。社区党支部于2012年7月成立。[1]

地理环境[edit]

社区东临长江路，南至刺陵河延伸段，西至腾龙路，北至白马湖路。社区距离杭州西湖、湘湖风景旅游区约15分钟车程。[1]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，截至2015年底，社区入住人口2970余人。一期的30幢多层住宅已安置完毕；二期的5幢高层住宅正陆续安置。[1]

文化[edit]

辖区内有一所三甲幼儿园，即长河幼儿园冠山园区，以及一所小学，即长河小学白马湖校区。社区另有集金融、商贸和电子商务于一体的商业步行街。[1]
