2011年8月设立社区；党支部于2012年7月23日建立。[1]
地理环境[edit]
社区北面依傍滨文路，东面以张家西河为界，白马湖路在南，长江路在西。[1]
人口民族[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，辖区人口17000余人。商品房方面，风景蝶院与江南铭庭之外还有新楼盘湖漫雅筑；单身公寓是朗庭公馆。拆迁安置房共3081户，分布在孔雀苑、凤凰苑、鸿雁苑等安置小区。该网未注明统计年份。[1]
文化[edit]
社区的青少年科普馆设在安置小区内，是滨江区首个设在安置小区的青少年科普馆。另设廉政公园一座，老年活动中心四个，还有若干室外健身点。[1]
设施方面，街道文体中心、滨江妇幼保健院、月亮湾幼儿园与长河小学都在辖区之内；银行方面，联合银行和工商银行各设白马湖支行。[1]
社区曾获「杭州市文化示范社区」「滨江区绿色社区」「民主法治社区」等荣誉称号，并获得「2013年度平安滨江先进单位」。[1]
