江三社区位于杭州市滨江区长河街道，位于钱塘江南岸。它的西边离钱江一桥不远，东边紧靠复兴大桥（即钱江四桥），南边与浙赣铁路相邻。辖区形状为长方形，面积约2.67平方公里。[1][2]

社区北依钱塘江，江边原为浙江第一码头。四季大道呈南北走向，从村中穿过；江南大道（中兴路）呈东西走向，横穿全境。[1]
