七甲闸社区在西兴街道北部，东邻萧山合丰村，西接星民村，北面是水电社区。社区面积约1.2平方千米，有3358人。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

驻地原名胜利村，因与另一地的村名重复而改名。此地位于钱塘江七甲、八甲一带，村里有一口大闸，故名七甲闸。[1]

20世纪初这里还是钱塘江江涂，村民多因坍江而迁来垦种。1950年此地划为东方红公社的胜利大队，1981年重设七甲闸大队，1984年4月起设村民委员会。七甲闸改为社区的时间是2011年2月17日。[1][2]

社区概况[edit]

社区内新建缤纷小区，分缤纷北苑、西苑，因建设奥体中心及配套设施，原居民已回迁入住缤纷北苑。社区居委会驻缤纷北苑23幢商辅楼。[2]
