历史沿革[edit]
庙后王村古名范港村。明宣德年间（1426年至1435年），王琮自西兴入赘范港村胡氏，子孙繁衍成村。因村子位于六和庙后，且庙后住着王姓人家，遂得名庙后王。村落形成约有400多年。[3]
1958年，此地为庙后王大队。1961年4月，此处设立中共庙后王村支部。1966年1月，大队一度改称红旗大队；1981年1月重新定名为庙后王大队，1984年又改为庙后王村。[3]2005年4月，此村撤村建居，成为庙后王社区。[3]
