政苑社区位于杭州市西湖区三墩镇，在余杭塘河北岸。社区两块主要区域，一是省直机关住宅区政苑小区，一是浙大教师住宅区紫金文苑，合计占地720亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国后至2001年，建国后到2001年，这里分处两地：一部分属三墩镇三坝村，一部分属拱墅区阮家桥村。2002年，阮家桥村并入三墩镇；2006年6月，原村改为政苑社区。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年6月，政苑社区入选「首批浙江省现代社区」名单。[1]
2023年7月，政苑社区被命名为「浙江省“红色根脉”强基（基层党建）示范村（社区）」。[1]
2024年1月，政苑社区被命名为「2023年全国示范性老年友好型社区」。[1]
