吉鸿社区在三墩镇西北部，东侧为古墩路，西侧邻绕城高速，北面接壤良渚镇，区域面积3.23平方千米。[1]
地名由来[edit]
社区以辖区内的吉鸿佳苑小区得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时此地归双桥乡，建国初改属严庄乡。1958年，这里分为三墩公社的高村、五星两个大队；1981年10月，五星大队改名章家桥大队，次年2月高村大队改名高家湾大队。1984年，两地分别设为高家湾、章家桥两个行政村。1996年，此地划入西湖区。2002年两村合并称吉鸿村。[1]
博雅地名网两处记撤村建居年份不一，分别为2004年和2005年4月。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年1月，吉鸿社区被命名为「浙江省2022年度省级“民主法治村（社区）”」。[1]
