竞舟社区隶属文新街道，2001年3月20日成立，名称因竞舟路南北纵贯社区而来。社区东边以莲花河为界，西面抵达古墩路，南面连接文二西路，北面到达文一西路。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1996年以前，此地属余杭区，1996年才划入西湖区。[1] 2001年3月20日，社区正式成立。[1][2]

辖区概况[edit]

社区面积0.35平方千米。辖区住宅区有名仕家园、紫桂花园、兰桂花园、恩济花苑、金成花园和雅仕苑；教育机构有求是（竞舟）小学、紫荆花学校；此外设有西湖区行政服务中心。[1][2]

2023年1月，社区被命名为「浙江省2022年度省级民主法治村（社区）」。[1]
