东山弄社区是浙江省杭州市西湖区灵隐街道的社区，位于西湖风景区之内，原为金沙港行政村，2002年由四个居民区与小区管委会合并设立。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

社区的边界大致是：东面为曙光路，南面连接玉泉路，西侧以玉古路为界，北侧与浙大路相接。社区内有楼群92幢、246个单元，共2852户。[1]

据博雅地名网所载，社区总人数为7358人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区的前身是金沙港行政村。建国初此地称金沙港一村；1956年组建龙农井乡金沙港农业社，1958年改属西湖公社，成为金沙港大队；1984年又改称金沙港行政村。下辖的四个自然村为金沙港、里东山弄、黄泥岭与白沙泉。[2]

进入20世纪70年代，陆续设立了里东山弄居民区、外东山弄居民区、东山新村第一居民区和第二居民区，并组建东山弄小区管委会。2002年，前述四个居民区连同该管委会并为一体，设立东山弄社区。[1][2]
