灵隐街道是浙江省杭州市西湖区下辖的街道，位于区境中部偏北，毗邻西湖风景区，辖有七个社区。[1][4][5]

街道名称来自境内建于东晋咸和元年（326年）的灵隐寺。[2][6] 1954年8月设立灵隐街道，辖区内有浙江大学玉泉校区、浙江黄龙体育中心和解放军117医院。[1][3][5]

历史沿革[edit]

1954年8月，灵隐街道设立，办事处驻白乐桥。[1][2]

1960年4月，街道一度改设为西湖公社灵隐管理区，至1964年5月才恢复街道的名称。1968年4月，它改组为灵隐街道革命委员会。1969年4月西湖区撤销后，这里并入郊区；1972年12月西湖区恢复建制，此地随之划回。1980年，街道名称再度恢复。[2]

1986年10月办事处迁至玉古路99号，1989年7月迁至现址。[2]

2007年，珊瑚沙、五云、梦湖三个社区划归转塘街道。[1]

地理环境[edit]

街道面积约6平方千米，东以杭大路与北山街道为邻，南以曙光路为界，西由万塘路至西溪路口，北至天目山路。浙江大学玉泉校区位于辖区之内，117社区的驻地则在解放军117医院的院区里。[4][5]

街道地处黄龙国际商务圈的核心区块。[4]

人口民族[edit]

据2017年发布的应急预案，辖区户籍人口6万余人，居民户约有1.44万户。[4]

据博雅地名网所载，街道流动人口为2万人左右。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

寺院始建于东晋咸和元年（326年），以西印度僧人慧理为开山祖师。[6][7]

五代时，吴越王钱镠命永明延寿大师重兴寺院，并赐名「灵隐新寺」。[6]

1689年（康熙二十八年），康熙帝南巡时赐名「云林禅寺」。[6]

1860年（咸丰十年），太平军攻占杭州，灵隐寺遭焚毁，仅存天王殿与罗汉堂。[7]

灵隐寺为全国重点文物保护单位。[6]

寺前的飞来峰造像石窟群现存五代至元代造像380多尊，1982年被公布为「第二批全国重点文物保护单位」。[8]

文化[edit]

浙江大学玉泉校区位于街道辖区内。校区于1953年在老和山下动工，次年首批学生入住。[5][9]

辖区内有浙江黄龙体育中心，1997年动工兴建，2000年起投入使用，并是杭州第19届亚运会的比赛场地。[3][10]
