社区周围环水，东侧是紫荆花路，南侧接天目山路。全社区占地381亩，建筑总面积21万平方米，公建配套2.5万平方米，住宅用地15.5万平方米，绿化率为40%。[1]

居民楼58幢，住户1812套，约5000余人。[1]

2023年6月，社区入选首批浙江省现代社区名单。[1]

2023年7月，社区被命名为浙江省「红色根脉」强基（基层党建）示范村（社区）。[1]
