「仕林」寓意人才众多，寄望辖区居民事业有成。[1]

辖区界线为东到花蒋路、西到朝天莫港、南到文二西路、北到文一西路，其中包括西溪花园的红柿、紫菱、翠竹、白荻四个苑。辖区面积约0.68平方千米，共有83幢楼、223个单元。[1]
