地名[edit]
村名源于明代葛寅亮为感念母亲而建桥的典故。[3]
沿革[edit]
建国初此地属杭县白龙乡。1956年划归龙坞乡，编入横山农业社；1958年划归杭州市上泗公社龙坞管理区，为横山生产队；1981年改为慈母桥大队，1984年起称慈桥行政村。[1]
产业与荣誉[edit]
村以茶叶种植为主导产业。2021年，村被评为「浙江省3A级景区村庄」，同年入选省级引领型农村社区。[3]
