金家岭社区隶属转塘街道，前身为金家岭行政村，2013年由村改居，改称社区。[1]
沿革[edit]
建国初此地归杭县定山乡，1956年划入树塘乡，1958年成为杭州市上泗公社凌家桥管理区下的一个生产队。[1]
1961年设西湖区转塘公社金家岭大队，1966年一度称高峰大队，1981年恢复金家岭大队的名称，1984年定为金家岭行政村。[1]
2013年撤村建居，改名金家岭社区。[1]
党支部与荣誉[edit]
金家岭村党支部1963年成立。党支部先后获「文明村」「西湖区先锋工程建设五好村党组织」「先进党支部」等称号，并得「征地拆迁工作三等奖」和「五好村党支部」等荣誉。[2]
