社区原为村口行政村，辖3个自然村。2003年由村改为社区，2004年1月5日撤村建居。[1][2][3]
地理[edit]
社区离杭州市中心约15公里，320国道由辖区穿过，与之江旅游度假区、中国美术学院、浙江省人民医院望江山分院相邻。[3]
