龙王沙社区隶属转塘街道，地处西湖区东部，位于国家之江旅游度假区范围之内。辖区面积1.9平方公里，东面与杭州宋城旅游景区相接。2002年由龙王沙村委会撤村建居，属西湖区第二批撤村建居单位。[2][3][1]
历史沿革[edit]
1956年，此地属树塘乡，设龙王沙农业社。此后又经转塘管理区、转塘公社等建制变动。[3]
2002年，原龙王沙村委会改为社区，村庄随之撤销。[2][3]
辖区[edit]
社区设有6个居民小组，东邻珊瑚沙社区，南以320国道与桕联社区相接，北至之江路，西靠龙心社区，直至杭州绕城高速。[2]
之江家园在2023年入选浙江省第七批未来社区创建名单。[3]
