横街社区位于留下街道的中部，与和家园相邻，沿用撤村建居前的横街行政村之名。[1]社区于2003年撤村后成立，现有161户居民，人口600余人，另有暂住的外来流动人员两千多人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区的前身为横街行政村，2003年撤村，设立横街社区。[1]社区现有新老居民点两处，占地218亩，其中集中绿化与道路约108亩。[1]
