东岳社区是杭州市西湖区留下街道东部的一个社区，与古荡街道相邻，北面一侧靠近西溪湿地公园。[1]社区得名于辖内的东岳庙，前身为东岳行政村，撤村建居后设立。[1]辖区面积6.7平方千米，在册居民4656人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此前的东岳行政村，村内有老东岳、何家河头、王家桥、唐家坞等地，共9个自然村。[1]博雅地名网的历史沿革部分称，2002年东岳村撤销，并入1953年设立的东岳居民区而成社区；其基本介绍则写作2004年12月撤村建居。两说并存，本条目未定其一。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

社区辖区内有卫匡国墓，墓主卫匡国是明末清初来华的意大利传教士，墓园于1984年至1986年由杭州市园林文物管理局修复。[2]
