满觉陇村是西湖街道下辖的行政村，位于西湖的西南方，南高峰与白鹤峰之间。西湖新十景之一的「满陇桂雨」在村的辖区内。[1][5]

历史沿革[edit]

满觉陇亦称满家弄，五代后晋时在此建寺，寺名圆兴院，北宋改称满觉院，村名由寺名而来。[4]

建国初属西湖区龙井乡。1956年，它成为龙井乡下辖的五一农业合作社；1958年改为西湖乡满觉陇大队；1984年又称西湖乡满觉陇行政村。村下辖上满觉陇、下满觉陇、四眼井3个自然村，另有马儿山一个农居点。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

据百度百科，满觉陇一带自宋代起种植桂花，明代起成为杭州桂花最盛之地。[5]

沿途山道两旁植有七千多株桂花，树龄最长的达200多年。[2]

自1990年首次举办「西湖桂花节」以来，每年秋季都有举办。[1]
