九溪社区是西湖街道下辖的社区，位于西湖风景名胜区之内，背靠五云山，临钱塘江，2001年3月成立，名称来自旁边的九溪。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

社区名称来自旁边的九溪，社区处于九溪路一侧。[3]

据博雅地名网，1950年，这里设有九溪、六和塔两个居民区，1953年又添设王家山居民区。社区于2001年3月成立，由六和塔、九溪、王家山三个居委会合并而成；另一页则记为2011年三个居民区合并建成九溪社区。[1][2]

此前社区隶属南山街道，2002年两街道合并后，社区更为现名。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

社区内可见的名胜包括六和塔、九溪十八涧、云栖竹径与理安寺，据博雅地名网所列。[1]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，社区被命名为「2023年全国示范性老年友好型社区」。[1]
