嘉荷社区是古荡街道下辖的社区，四界：西边是紫荆港河，东边为竞舟路，南侧濒沿山河，北侧与丹桂、沁雅两花园的西墙相接[1]。辖区内有嘉绿景苑、荷花苑两个住宅小区，社区因此得名[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

2009年10月，嘉荷社区成立[1]。2023年1月，社区被命名为「浙江省2022年度省级“民主法治村（社区）”」[1]。
