翠苑一区社区位于浙江省杭州市西湖区翠苑街道，2001年3月撤居组建，地处文一路与学院路一带，建成于1984年，是杭州早期小区之一。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区名称取自辖区内的翠苑新村。[1]

此地原为俞家圩村。1986年5月设俞家圩第一至第六居民区；1999年，6个居民区合并为俞家圩第一居民区。[1]

2001年3月撤居，翠苑一区社区由此组建。[1][2]

2021年8月，社区获国家卫生健康委老龄司公布为「2021年全国示范性老年友好型社区」。[1] 2023年6月，社区入选「首批浙江省现代社区」名单；2023年7月，社区被命名为「浙江省“红色根脉”强基（基层党建）示范村（社区）」。[1]
