九莲社区位于浙江省杭州市西湖区翠苑街道，2001年3月由居民区与营盘地村合并成立，地处文三路电子信息街区一带。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
社区名称取自辖区内的九莲新村小区。[1]
1986年，此地先后设立九莲新村的4个居民区；同年5月又设九莲庄、花园南村两个居民区，1988年增设花园西村居民区。[1]
2001年3月，这7个居民区与营盘地村合并，组建九莲社区。[1]
地理环境[edit]
社区北接文二路，西抵学院路，东面是教工路，南侧为文三路，面积0.38平方千米。[1]
人口[edit]
社区住户共4195户，常住居民10563名，外来流动人员7000余人。[1]

辖区单位600余家，其中有浙江电影制片厂、浙江省曲艺杂总团，还有行知小学和九莲小学。[1]
