花园社区位于浙江省杭州市西湖区翠苑街道，2001年3月成立，夹在教工路与学院路之间，北邻文一路。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区名称来自辖区内的花园北村小区。[1]

建国初，此地属花园亭乡。1956年成为古荡乡的花园农业社；1958年改设古荡公社的花园大队，1960年划往西湖公社，1963年回归古荡公社。[1]

1984年改称花园行政村，下辖3个自然村。1986年5月，此地设花园北村居委会；2001年3月，花园社区成立。[1]

2021年6月，社区被认定为「第二批浙江省高质量就业社区（村）」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

社区面积约0.36平方千米，有2200户居民，6048人。[1]

辖区单位有杭州市第十三中学、杭州市财税学校，浙江工商大学也在辖区内；高新大厦与西湖大厦亦在其中。[1]
