曲院社区是北山街道下辖的社区，位于浙江省政府的西侧。它东倚宝石山，南临曲院风荷，北接世贸中心。社区因南面的曲院风荷得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1985年设立了曲院居民区；2000年12月，它与一片撤村建居后的地区合并，成为曲院社区。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]
曲院风荷是西湖十景之一，景观源自南宋时期酿制官酒的作坊「麯院」及周边的荷塘。清康熙三十八年（1699年），康熙帝御题「曲院风荷」，并在苏堤跨虹桥西北侧一带建造园林，使这一景观得以复兴。其景区地址为北山街89号。[2]
