上保社区位于杭州市中心，是北山街道下辖的社区。东侧以环城西路为起点，南面挨着北山路，西侧倚靠保俶路，北端延伸到体育场路一带。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
社区名称来自它位于保俶路南段东侧的位置。1949年、1985年，这里先后设立了上保俶路、下保俶路和弥陀寺3个居民区。2000年，这3个居民区与胜利新村居民区的一部分合并，成立上保社区。[1]
2019年1月，上保社区列入浙江省2018年度「省级民主法治村（社区）」名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]
社区的弥陀寺服务综合体依托弥陀寺文化公园，与多家机构合作提供文化与社区教育服务。2023年，它在「2023年浙江省星级社区服务综合体名单」中获评四星级。[2]
弥陀寺石刻位于弥陀寺公园中，属清代作品，刻成于1878年，全文为《佛说阿弥陀经》。它是浙江省第八批省级文物保护单位。[3]
