历史沿革[edit]
1999年6月长木村完成撤村建居，它是杭州市首批城建制试点单位之一；2001年4月撤居建社区。[1][2]
地名由来[edit]
社区名称取自村办企业中州集团名称的谐音「中舟」。[1]
地理环境[edit]
社区东侧为东新河，北侧与西文社区相邻，西侧到上塘河，南侧止于和平广场。[2]
辖区内有餐饮特色街、绍兴路上的汽车精品街，以及沿上塘河的游览线。[2]
