社区于2007年7月成立，此后名称未再改变。[1]

居民与范围[edit]

社区以住宅与商业相混为特点，辖区包括现代名苑、现代雅苑、现代景苑等小区。东面至绍兴路，西面至上塘河。社区有3320户居民，常住人口7000余人。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年1月，社区被列入浙江省公布的「2019年度省级民主法治村（社区）」名单。[1]
