河东社区位于浙江省杭州市拱墅区朝晖街道西南部，东邻中山北路与河东路，北至应家河，西、南倚京杭大运河，文晖路穿越社区[1]。社区面积约0.37平方千米，有2150户，户籍人口5600人[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

社区因位于京杭运河之东而得名[1]。1984年此处建成河东路居民区，2001年3月改设为社区；2003年青园社区并入，名称没有改动[1]。

社区辖武林外滩、黎明园、青园、中北公寓、文晖苑等8个小区[2]。
