艮山门社区归杭州市拱墅区潮鸣街道管辖。沪杭铁路在其东侧，建国北路在西侧，莫衙营在南面，北边则是京杭大运河。区域面积0.49平方千米，共有3024户，8040名常住人口[1][2]。

地名由来[edit]

此社区的西边与古代的艮山门相邻。「艮」指北方，「艮山」即城北小山；南宋时取名艮山，寄托思念故国之意。艮山门是杭州古代的东北城门[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

宋元以后，这里的手工丝织与纺织作坊星罗棋布，是「杭纺」的重要产地[3]。

2001年3月，头营巷、骆驼桥、艮山门三个居委会并成永康苑社区；2004年6月，随两街道拆并，更名为艮山门社区[1][4]。

社区概况[edit]

环城北路穿过社区，将其分成两片[1]。辖区单位有包杭公司、喜得宝公司，此外有杭州酒家、强生医院；社区服务中心也设在本社区，办公面积208平方米[1][2]。

2020年12月，社区被命名为「浙江省2020年度省级民主法治村（社区）」[1]。
