艮园社区属杭州市拱墅区潮鸣街道，位于大树路与刀茅巷之间、体育场路与东园街之间，占地约0.11平方千米。有居民2628户，总人口7673余人[1][2]。

地名由来[edit]

社区因境内的住宅小区「艮园」而得名。艮园位于东园新村大型住宅区的东北，故名[4]。

历史沿革[edit]

社区成立于2001年3月，由永寿寺、下小营巷、小营新村3个居民区并入组建[1]。

社区设施[edit]

社区西侧有面积1.4万平方米的东园公园，社区绿地面积超过辖区面积的15%[1]。辖区内的单位包括银苑大厦、人保大厦，还有市刑侦支队、建北房管站以及东园幼儿园[1]。社区服务中心下设综合活动室、社区居委会办公室等，办公面积200平方米[2]。
