潮鸣街道是浙江省杭州市拱墅区下辖的街道，位于拱墅区东南部。街道东临贴沙河，西依东河，南接庆春路，北靠京杭大运河。辖区面积1.98平方千米，下辖9个社区[1][2]。街道名称源于旧有的潮鸣寺[6]。

辖区内老旧小区较多，60岁以上老人超过常住人口的四分之一[3]。

历史沿革[edit]

五代吴越时，此地属钱江县；北宋改钱江县为仁和县后，此地隶属仁和县[4]。民国后先隶属杭县，1927年5月划入新设的杭州市城区[4]。1949年6月设下城区，此地属之[4]。

1954年8月设立潮鸣街道。1960年4月，东街路街道并入此地，合组为下城人民公社潮鸣分社。1962年5月，恢复潮鸣街道之名；1968年曾改名革命委员会，1980年又改回原名[4]。2004年撤并石桥镇与艮山街道，部分地块划入，名称保留[4]。

2021年3月，杭州市调整行政区划，原下城、拱墅两区合并为新的拱墅区，本街道划归新区[4]。

名称由来[edit]

街道因旧有潮鸣寺而得名[6][1]。据民国《杭州府志》，潮鸣寺建于五代梁时，南渡时驻跸寺中，因闻涛声而赐名[1]。

地理环境[edit]

东侧与上城区凯旋街道接壤，南侧邻上城区的小营街道；西侧是长庆街道，北侧隔京杭运河与文晖街道相望[2]。

辖区南北向有建国北路、环城东路两条纵路，东西向有环城北路、体育场路、凤起路、庆春路四条横路[3]。

人口[edit]

2011年末，街道总人口为38183人[2]。2021年，拱墅区人民政府网站介绍时称街道常住人口7.5万人[3]。

荣誉[edit]

2007年，街道获得「全国社区服务优秀项目」「全国和谐邻里示范单位」等称号[5]。2020年12月，街道被确定为「第四批智慧健康养老示范街道（乡镇）」[1]。
