新华坊社区位于长庆街道内，东面临东河，西侧依傍新华路，南起凤起路，北到体育场路，面积约0.18平方千米。[1][2]

社区里有窑瓶巷这条千年古巷，宋代因南宋官窑「修内司」所在而得名。社区设有青瓷文化公园。[2][3]

地名由来[edit]

社区名称取自地名新华坊。这个坊名又是依新华路而取的。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2001年3月，窑瓶巷、张大营前、夏侯巷四个居民区合并成社区，取名新华坊。同年12月，青龙社区并入。[1]

窑瓶巷[edit]

窑瓶巷在明代称姚平巷、尧平巷，民国时复名窑瓶巷，1966年曾改称永红巷，1981年恢复原名。1998年，窑瓶巷因新华坊住宅区的建设被拆掉，这一地名不复存在。2018年改造这一带的街巷时，设置了褚遂良文化墙，并新建青瓷文化公园。[2][3]

居民与非遗[edit]

社区辖53幢居民楼，住有2561户。截至2023年，常住人口为5618人，流动人口为520人。社区有鹰爪功、黄杨木雕等非遗传承人，建有非遗展馆。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2015年3月，社区获司法部、民政部表彰，成为「第六批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
