王马社区位于长庆街道中北部，东以东河为界，南靠庆春路，西连新华路，北接凤起路，面积0.34平方千米，是街道各社区中面积最大的一个。[1][3]

社区名来源于境内的王马巷。境内有梁宅、白衣寺两处市级文物保护单位。[3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

2001年1月，王马与遥祥寺巷两个居民区合并组成社区。同年12月，横燕子弄、水陆、海狮三个社区并入其中，名称保留不变。[1]

居民与辖区单位[edit]

社区常住人口11209人，住户有4606户，另有企业退休人员2380余人。辖区里设有21家单位，包括杭州市环保局、青春中学和青蓝小学等。[1]

社区党建[edit]

社区下设28个楼道党支部。据博雅地名网，社区是「楼道党支部」的发源地。2007年7月28日，中央总书记到社区考察，肯定了这里率先推出的全国第一个楼道党支部。[2]

省、市领导也先后对社区的「六必到、六必访、八必报」和「十条社区为民服务线」做法作过批示。[2]

白衣寺[edit]

据杭州网报道，白衣寺是在好木寺旧址上建起来的寺院，清道光年间始建，今为杭州市文保建筑。民国初年，它与净慈寺、昭庆寺、灵隐寺并称杭州四大丛林。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2018年7月，社区获司法部、民政部表彰，成为「第七批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」。2021年6月，被认定为「第二批浙江省高质量就业社区（村）」。2023年6月，入选「首批浙江省现代社区」名单。2023年7月，被命名为「浙江省“红色根脉”强基（基层党建）示范村（社区）」。[1][2]
