吴牙社区位于长庆街道东南部，东起新华路，西至中河，北靠庆春路，南接长庆街，总面积0.2平方千米。[1][3]

社区里有一座明代建筑吴宅，为市级文物保护单位。辖区内还有嘉德广场、华商集团等省、市属单位。[1][3][4]

地名由来[edit]

社区名称来自辖区内的吴牙巷。这条巷子明代叫下八界巷，清代称卧霞巷，又叫贺衙巷。巷里有卧霞园，巷子因园而得名，到民国时才讹写作吴牙巷。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2001年1月，吴牙巷与青春坊两个居民区合并，组成了这个社区。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

吴宅是明代的古建筑，属于市级文物保护单位，位于社区辖区内。[3][4]

组织与文体活动[edit]

社区党委之下设有8个楼道党支部和1个青春党支部，在册党员262名。文体团队有女子军乐队、越剧队、健身队、葫芦丝队和京剧爱好队，常以「相约七日苑」开展活动。[2]

社区获得过「全国社区服务先进社区」「浙江省示范社区居民委员会」等荣誉称号。[2]
