竹竿巷社区在杭州市中心，东侧紧邻中山北路，南界为庆春路，西侧接广福路，北界为孩儿巷，面积约11万平方米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2001年3月组建时，中庆、永丰、山子巷3个居民区与广福、孩儿巷、庆春居民区的部分地块合并成此社区。[2]

地理环境[edit]

社区名称来自竹竿巷。此巷又称后洋街，相传宋时杭城编篱插花用的细竹曾在此集市，巷因此得名。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

辖区内有马寅初故居、梅王阁和张同泰药店。[4]

马寅初故居位于庆春路210号，即杭州故居，现为马寅初纪念馆。[5] 国务院在2006年5月25日将其列为第六批全国重点文物保护单位。[5]

文化[edit]

2021年6月，社区获认定为「第二批浙江省高质量就业社区（村）」。[1]
