武林街道位于浙江省杭州市拱墅区，在杭州市中心，以中河路为东界，庆春路为南界，环城西路为西界，环城北路为北界。[1][2]街道因旧时的武林门得名，[1][5]历史上曾属钱江县、仁和县，1954年8月设立武林街道。[3][4]
历史沿革[edit]
后梁龙德二年（922年），吴越取钱塘、盐官两县各一半地域，并富春县的长寿、安吉二乡，设置钱江县，县治在武林门内梅家桥南，这一带属钱江县。[3] 北宋太平兴国四年（979年），钱江县改名仁和县，境域隶属仁和县。[3] 南宋绍兴三年（1133年），仁和县治迁到招贤坊，即今百井坊巷，辖区于是成为南宋临安城的核心地区之一。[3]
辛亥革命后，辖区属杭县，称城区。1927年5月，杭县的城区与西湖、会堡、皋塘、江干等六区合并设立杭州市，辖区属杭州市城区。[3] 1949年6月设立下城区，辖区属下城区。[3]
1954年8月，设立街道，称武林街道。[3][4] 1960年4月起，此地一度改用下城人民公社武林分社之名；1962年5月，街道旧称恢复。1968年改设革命委员会，直到1980年9月才又用回原名。[3]
2021年3月，杭州市调整行政区划，撤销下城区与拱墅区，以两区的区域设立新的拱墅区，武林街道改属新拱墅区。[3]
地理环境[edit]
辖区面积1.18平方千米，维基百科记作1.14平方千米。[1][4][6] 武林街道隔中河与长庆街道相望，南侧与上城区湖滨街道相邻，西侧以西湖区北山街道为界，北侧与米市巷、天水两街道相接。[4]
辖区内有中山北路、延安路、武林路、凤起路等道路。[2] 街道名称来自旧时的武林门。[1][5]
人口[edit]
2011年末，武林街道总人口为43971人，城镇化率为100%。[4][5]
据第七次全国人口普查，2020年11月1日零时的常住人口计33948人，总人口则为4.79万人。[5]
名胜古迹[edit]
张同泰药店位于中山北路99号，清嘉庆十年（1805年），张梅在此收购原沈同泰药号的店屋，并改称张同泰。[7] 目前留存的房屋大体是民国元年（1912年）翻建时保下来的，占地1400平方米。[7]
2000年7月9日，杭州市人民政府将张同泰药店公布为杭州市第三批市级文物保护单位。2005年，因中山北路拓宽，石库门向内移约6米，主体建筑按原样修缮。[7]
