环北新村社区是杭州市拱墅区天水街道下辖的社区，位于杭州市中心，处在武林广场西侧。社区西面以武林路为界，东面到中山北路，南边是体育场路，北边临环城北路。社区成立于2000年9月，由环北新村等原居民区并入，名称取自所在的环城北路。[1][3]

据百度百科，此地历史上曾是南宋北城墙所在，也是京杭运河的南起点。东风杭州汽车公司由此起步，博雅地名网称这里是该公司的发祥地。[3][1]
