半山社区是杭州市拱墅区半山街道下辖的社区，前身为半山村，2007年底撤村建居，名称取自半山。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

社区名称来自「半山」。博雅地名网称，这一带之所以叫半山，是因为西面约12公里的群山高度都不及皋亭山主山。[3][5]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年公社化后，此地为杭州市四维公社康桥管理区下的半山生产队；1962年改为康桥公社的半山大队。[4]

1985年1月改名金家堰行政村，1995年10月报区政府批准，又改称半山村。2007年12月，半山行政村撤销，设立半山社区。2017年3月，拱墅区政府批准了新的四至范围。[4]

位置与范围[edit]

社区辖区面积约0.8平方千米。基本介绍写其四界为：东面是田园地块，西面连接金星社区与阔板桥社区，南面为皋亭社区，北面到半山公园。[1]

沿革栏所载调整后的界线则是东边到上塘河，南边到桃源街，西侧为金星社区，北侧靠杭钢生活区。[4]

下辖自然村有五个：半山桥、金家堰、张家园、孙家门、袁家村。[2]

人口与文化[edit]

社区居民490户，常住人口1996人，另有流动人口约7000人，年份未注。[1]

辖内保有皋亭山一带的文化遗产。双面泥猫、立夏民俗等项目被列为省级非物质文化遗产。社区内有文体广场、老年活动室、图书室和电子阅览室。[2]

荣誉[edit]

社区获得的称号有「浙江省老龄工作规范化社区」「浙江省民主法制村」「杭州市文明社区」等。[2]
