杭钢西苑社区是杭州市拱墅区半山街道下辖的社区，属于单位型住宅小区，房屋多为杭钢职工宿舍楼。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

社区以辖区内的杭钢公司职工宿舍「杭钢西苑」得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2001年3月，金昌路、桃园、刘文村3个居民区被撤销，组建了杭钢西苑社区。[3] 概况栏则写作成立于2001年5月，两处日期不同，这里并录。[2]

位置与界线[edit]

社区沿半山路一线分布，靠近半山生活区的西北侧。东边抵半山山脚，西边是本街道与康桥街道的分界线，南边至高家弄，北边沿渣山路、半山路直到拱康路。[2]

住宅与单位[edit]

房屋建于上世纪六七十年代。辖区有住户3330户，常住人口8885人，年份未注。[2]

共建单位有十余家，其中有杭钢集团公司、浙江安装开元集团公司，也有半山实验小学西苑校区。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2018年7月，司法部和民政部授予杭钢西苑社区「第七批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」称号。[1]

社区还获得「全国综合减灾示范社区」「浙江省文明社区」「浙江省绿色社区」「杭州市和谐社区」等称号。[2]
