杭钢南苑社区是杭州市拱墅区半山街道下辖的社区，由杭钢职工宿舍楼组成，是一个单位型的老旧住宅小区。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

社区的名字来自辖区内的杭钢职工住宅「杭钢南苑」。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

2001年3月，东塘、西塘、三家塘3个居民区合并组建杭钢南苑社区，名称沿用至今。[4] 概况栏则写作成立于2001年5月，两处日期不同，这里并录。[2]

住宅与人口[edit]

社区是建于上世纪八九十年代的老小区，占地13.6万平方米。住户共2525户，居民7102人，年份未注。纳入社会化管理的退休人员有2702人，老年人约占户籍人口的35%。[2]

党建与荣誉[edit]

社区曾获全国学习型社区示范单位和全国优秀志愿者组织等称号，还获「杭州市示范文明社区」「和谐社区」「健康单位」等荣誉。[2]
