杭钢北苑社区是杭州市拱墅区半山街道下辖的社区，占地约1.3平方千米，2001年3月由两个居民区撤销后组建。[1][3]

地名由来[edit]

社区因辖区内的杭钢公司职工住宅「杭钢北苑」而得名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

2001年3月，雨花弄和崇光路两个居民区被撤销，由此组建了杭钢北苑社区，名称沿用至今。[3]

界线与单位[edit]

四界分别为：东面到明园路，西面到杭钢集团，南面到半山路，北面到半山公园。辖区内有68幢住宅楼，另有5幢杭钢租赁房。[1]

社区联合杭钢储运公司等十一家单位，成立了共建单位委员会，主张共驻共建。[1]

荣誉[edit]

社区获得的称号有「全国敬老模范社区」「全国优秀志愿服务品牌」「浙江省绿色社区」「浙江省文化示范社区」「杭州市文明社区」等。[1]
