田园社区是杭州市拱墅区半山街道下辖的社区，成立于2001年，北依半山国家森林公园，南沿上塘河。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

社区的名字源自辖区内的田园公寓住宅小区。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

概况栏称，社区的前身是明园、仁和、牛奶、广济四个老居委会，四者合在一起组成本社区。[2] 沿革栏则写作2001年3月撤销杭奶、明园2个居民区，建立田园社区。[4] 两处写法不同，这里并录。

地理环境[edit]

社区面积2.8平方千米。北面靠着半山国家森林公园，龙山、虎山两座公园也在附近；南面沿上塘河，与下城区隔河相望；西侧以明园路为分界线，和杭钢北苑社区接壤；东面是田园新区。[2]

绿化面积在5万余平方米，栽有四十余种树木和花草。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2013年1月，社区获得「杭州市第七批绿色社区」称号。[1]

社区还获得全国优秀志愿服务项目奖，并被命名为「国家级人口计生基层群众自治示范社区」，另获「浙江省省级民主法治社区」等称号。[2]
