半山街道位于浙江省杭州市拱墅区的东北部，因辖区内的半山而得名。1984年设半山镇，2010年改镇为街道。[1][3]

街道东面与上城区丁兰街道相邻，南面隔上塘河与石桥街道相望，西侧挨着康桥街道，北侧与临平区崇贤街道接壤。辖区内有「杭州半山国家森林公园」，并有显宁寺、半山娘娘庙等古迹。[1][4][5]

地名由来[edit]

当地人称这一带为半山，原因是西面约十二公里以内的群山，高度都不及皋亭山主山。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

这里在宋至清代属仁和县的太平乡。1912年起，分先后归杭县的皋城、留文、南贤、四维等乡。[3]

杭州解放后，此地先设半山、南山、独城三乡，隶属杭县。1958年杭县撤销，地方归杭州市塘栖区；同年十一月，划入半山联社四维公社的康桥管理区。1961年7月，改隶拱墅区康桥公社。[3]

1980年5月，另设杭州市半山区，此地归其管辖。1984年4月改设半山镇。1990年1月，半山、拱墅两区合为拱墅区，此地仍属之。[3]

2010年，半山镇撤销改设街道，名称定为杭州市拱墅区半山街道办事处。概况栏所载为2010年12月撤镇建街，沿革栏所载为2010年10月，两处月份不同，这里只写年份。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

街道辖区面积21.4平方千米。「杭州半山国家森林公园」占地852.91公顷，园内有26公里森林绿道。[1]

320国道从境内穿过。地铁4号线途经桃源新区，沿线有桃源街、吴家角港、独城生态公园三座车站。绕城高速北线经过街道北部，秋石高架则贯通半山南北。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

显宁寺坐落在皋亭山一带的半山麓。据百度百科，它是杭州市第一批历史保护建筑，建置可上溯到五代。北宋宣和五年（1123年）得到赐额「显宁永报禅寺」。元朝时寺院毁废，明代崇祯年间重新修建。现存藏经楼建于1931年，具民国风格，2019年经修缮后对外开放。[4]

半山娘娘庙位于半山国家森林公园内。据百度百科，庙宇始建于南宋绍兴年间，为祭祀一位护驾有功的倪氏女子而立。明崇祯六年重建，此后在清道光、光绪年间及民国二十一年多次修缮，现存建筑由倪氏后裔于1993年筹资重建。该庙为「拱墅新八景」之一。[5]

文化[edit]

博雅地名网列有「半山立夏节」等民俗。据百度百科，「半山立夏习俗」2016年入选联合国非遗名录，每年立夏时节举办庙会与民俗活动。[1][5]

教育与医疗[edit]

辖区内的学校有「杭州上海世界外国语中学」「杭州福山外国语小学」「卖鱼桥小学」和「浙江大学附属中学实验学校」。医疗机构有「浙江省肿瘤医院」「杭州市第一人民医院城北院区」等。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年12月，街道被认定为「2024年度浙江省A级景区镇」，即4A级景区镇。[2]

2020年12月，街道被确定为「第四批智慧健康养老示范街道（乡镇）」。[2]
