平安桥社区位于拱康路西侧，东面与半山电厂相邻，西至京杭大运河，辖区面积0.8平方千米，2008年12月撤村建社区。[1]

2015年，全村完成拆迁。2018年5月，第三批167户完成选房抽房，回迁工作结束，共涉及380户居民。[2]
