义桥社区位于康桥街道的西北部，东侧与蒋家浜社区接壤，西侧濒临京杭大运河，南端到西杨社区，宣杭铁路横穿社区。[1]

社区设立于2008年12月31日，其前身为义桥村，撤村后改为社区，名称沿用村内的义桥。社区内还保存着百年古刹宝积寺。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初期，这里是杭县义桥乡下的四个自然村：洋湾里、郁家塘、后洋浜、北塘。1955年设义桥农业初级社，1961年成为康桥公社的义桥大队，1985年1月改称义桥行政村，2008年12月撤行政村改社区。[1]

社区概况[edit]

社区总面积1.1平方千米，设5个居民小组。博雅地名网记居民242户、常住人口1052人，未注统计年份。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

宝积寺位于社区内。拱墅区政府2019年的文章称，它靠近大运河东岸义桥景观样板段的北端，是运河进入杭州市区的首个门户，因此被叫作「运河入杭第一寺」。[2]
