康桥社区位于康桥街道的中部地段，与蒋家浜、永和两个社区毗邻。[1]

社区是2002年4月由康桥居民区和李佛桥居民区合并组成的，名称取自辖区的康家桥，据说这座桥是康姓人家所造。[1] 社区面积约0.75平方千米，区域分散于康桥老街、谢村和义桥一带。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区的前身是1983年8月设立的康桥居民区。2002年4月，这一居民区与李佛桥居民区一并撤销，改组为社区。[1]

社区概况[edit]

社区分为桥东、桥西、谢村、义桥四个居民小组，谢村、义桥两组的居民多数已经拆迁。博雅地名网记社区有105户、368人、党员42人，未注统计年份。[1][2]

2013年11月起，社区开始接管康泽苑小区。该小区东起前洋路、西至下塘路，是街道最先开工的安置房，也是运河新城首批回迁安置小区之一。[1]
